EMF – Electromagnetic Shielding

We provide independent and objective analysis of requirements for electromagnetic (EMF) shielding of substations, transformers, switchboards and electrical cabling in buildings and proposed buildings.

Magnetic fields may provide a potential health hazard and may cause interference to sensitive electronics and communications.

There are potential cost savings if the requirement for shielding can be reduced or eliminated.

Paradigm Press provides electrical engineers, electrical contractors and project managers with an analysis of a building’s proposed electrical installation and recommendations to achieve cost-effective shielding if required.

We can also measure the magnetic fields (magnetic flux density) in homes, apartments, schools, offices and factories to check background levels of exposure for residents and employees.
Magnetic fields from powerlines can also be measured.
